The Whitechapel Bell Foundry Company est une des plus anciennes industries de Londres. Créée en 1420, et installée sur Whitechapel depuis 1570, on y fabrique des cloches depuis 400 ans. C’est ici que fut fondue la Liberty Bell en 1752 et la célèbre cloche de Big Ben. On peut visiter la fonderie sur rendez-vous.
