Premier weekend après la fin des JO et déjà le blues de ces quinze jours de célébrations touchent les londoniens. Comme chaque semaine, la rédaction de bealondoner.com a sélectionné pour vous de quoi soigner votre déprime post-JO avec des expos, festivals…Bon weekend a tous, en attendant les Jeux Paralympiques….

Le 17, 18 et 19 aout, Battersea Park accueille le Foodies Festival pour trois jours consacrés à la bonne chaire, de quoi soigner n’importe quel blues post-JO, à coup de fourchettes !
Démonstrations de recettes de cuisine par de grands chefs étoilés, comme Ed Baines, Levi Roots, Martin Blunos mais aussi ateliers cuisine, stands de Street-Food et près de 100 exposants vous attendent tout le long de ce weekend placé sous le signe de la gourmandise.

Ce marché de nuit propose stand de street-food, bars et tables de ping-pong. Une alternative pour tous ceux qui aiment sortir au cœur de Shoreditch…

Traces prend place dans le cadre du Fringe Shoreditch festival, l’endroit choisi se trouve à Hoxton et cette maison abandonnée va revivre comme ce qu’elle fut en 1870, au temps où ses habitants l’habitaient encore. On pourra visiter les pièces laissées à l’abandon par ses habitants de jadis, Traces va recréer les bruits, odeurs et se servir de cette coquille vide de lieu d’exposition pour des artistes.
Du 17 au 19 aout, le public pourra venir participer gratuitement à cette expérience pas comme les autres, qui mélange art, design, histoire… Pour le moment, l’endroit est encore gardé secret…On sait juste que cela se passera dans le quartier de Shoreditch, à Hoxton. Des indices seront transmis au public par email, pour cela il suffit de s’enregistrer sur le site.

Deux françaises de Londres, Christelle Coulin et Ludivine Baruton, ont eu l’idée de créer aussi leur concept original : le Pop-up Tea Gardens and Coffee House. Pour ce faire, elles ont choisi d’installer leur petit salon de thé dans un endroit différent de Londres, le temps d’un week-end.
Le 18 et 19 aout prochain, leur salon de the éphémère investira The ReUnion, un espace ouvert à différents Pop-ups situe entre Borough Market et Waterloo. On pourra déguster les délices pâtissiers de Gluten Free Delice et les recettes sans gluten de Christelle Coulin dans le cadre champêtre crée pour l’occasion par Ludivine, paysagiste.

Installé tout samedi, au cœur du Old Spitafield Market, ce marché est dédié à l’artisanat made in UK. Vous pourrez trouver des créations originales en matière de déco, bijoux, fringues, art…
