Après 5 ans de travaux, la gare de King's Cross s'est refait une beauté.

Ouvert au public depuis le 19 mars, ce nouvel espace conçu par John McAslan + Partners, est trois fois plus grand que le hall actuel. Il a été aménagéde tel sorte qu'il offre maintenant un large éventail de boutiques et de restaurants.

Plus de 1000 tonnes d'acier, un million de briques, cinq millions de carreaux de céramique et cinq millions de mètres de câblage ont été utilisés pour la reconstruction de la gare. Plus de 5000 personnes ont travaillé sur le projet.

Un relooking spécial Jeux Olympiques qui, selon les premiers echos, plait déjà aux voyageurs.
